Care Assistant – Full Time (Drivers Required)

Your Role

As a Care Assistant, you’ll provide person-centred support to individuals in their own homes, helping them maintain independence and quality of life. Duties include:

  • Personal care and hygiene support
  • Safe manual handling and mobility assistance (training provided)
  • Medication support
  • Meal preparation and household tasks
  • Companionship and emotional wellbeing support

Shifts are available between 6:45am and 10:00pm, with split shifts or full-day shifts offered 7 days a week.

Requirements

  • full UK driving licence and use of your own vehicle
  • A caring, trustworthy, and dependable attitude
  • Willingness to complete full training (no experience required)

  • Due to client preferences, we have limited vacancies for male applicants.

Daily tasks of a Care Assistant:

  • Personal Hygiene ~ Supporting individuals in their home.
  • Assisting with mobility ~ helping with daily exercise 
  • Manual Handling ~ with all aspects of transfers (full training provided)
  • Medication ~ Overseeing the client with their medication (training will be provided)
  • Household ~ General tidying of immediate areas, light duties, clothes washing etc. 
  • Meal Preparation ~ Breakfast, Lunch, Tea & Super, meeting client nutritional need
